WATERBURY — The city is renting an industrial-sized, mobile snow cauldron out of Canada this week to get rid of its excess snow.

It will fork over $10,000 to Turf Plus of Ontario to rent the Snow Dragon from Monday to Wednesday, mostly in the snow-choked downtown area.

"We're running out of places to put the snow," Mayor Michael J. Jarjura said. "It's not melting fast enough. Our staging areas are full. There is no place left to shovel it."  CLICK on LINKS BELOW for more of the story.
